I lounged by the private pool, enjoyed the terrace, and let my kids loose in the playground. Free WiFi was a life-saver. Cons: I mean, who needs a concierge or a peaceful pool area anyway?

Personally, I found the bidet in the bathroom unnecessary, but others might still find it useful.

The location was great, with easy access to the local market for fresh seafood and veggies, and a taxi stand just a minute away for a quick ride to the strip. the private parking for two cars was a convenient bonus. the host was very nice and accommodating, even going out of her way to get us an orange squeezer when we requested it.

the swimming pool and sun beds were not well maintained and we opted not to use them. the last few nights of our stay were disturbed by noisy guests returning during the early hours of the morning, which disrupted the whole building.

The apartment was in a great location, close to restaurants and shops. It was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. The area was quiet, and the swimming pool was very nice, with clean toilets and showers. There was also a fantastic cafe nearby for bread and cakes, and a small supermarket just a few minutes' walk away. We also enjoyed the fact that there were plenty of sun loungers by the pool, and there was always room for us to relax. it was a wonderful experience.

One negative aspect was that some guests did not follow the rules and regulations regarding the sun loungers, taking them up even when they were going to dinner, leaving other guests without a place to relax. Another downside was the Wi-Fi problem, although this was eventually resolved towards the end of our stay.

the vacation rental at Vista Das Ondas - 208 in Albufeira was a great experience! The apartment was spacious, super clean, and in a nice quiet area but still close to the beach, supermarket, and restaurants. The pool area was immaculate and the host, Andreia, was incredibly accommodating and helpful.
